Parameters of belt conveyor

H-frame I-LLDe(landing leg) AND Intermediate Frame

It is part of the belt conveyor,welded by angle iron(U-steel),baseboard, pedestal,steel tube, shaped like an H. This part is used for supporting the intermediate frame and carrying the total weight of rubber belt and material. Normally, H-frame I-LLDe and H-frame Ⅱ-LLDe are used in rotation.

Intermediate frame is part of belt conveyor, used for installing cross beam of idler and the entire idler.Generally made of box iron or angle steel, it is fixed together with H-frame from below.Length:3~6 m.specification of box steel and angle steel varies with different breadth of belt conveyor.as follows:

Transmission drum:

Transmission drum,shaped like a cylindrical canister,is the most important component of belt conveyor.Linked with the actuating device,transmission drum is used to transmit power of conveyor.Watt level depents on the friction coefficient and wrap angle between the surface of transmission drum and conveyor belt.Transmission drum mainly consists of coiling block, axle, bearing and bearing pedestal.Generally, patterns of rhombus and herringbone are added to the surface of transmission drum casted with rubber for the purpose of increasing friction and discharging adhesive material.Transmission drum is linked with axle by chain or taper-lock.The material of the surface of transmission drum is polyurethane rubber or ceramics.Coiling block of transmission drum of heavy LLDe uses cast-weld structure.

Sweeper
It is a utensil used specially for cleaning the stickum on conveyor belt. The material carried by belt conveyor often contains stickum, such as coal LDime, coal ash, some of which are easy to stick to the surface of belt conveyor and not easy to be removed when unloading. On such occasions, the stickum may enter the shell of the idler and cause damage to it.It also may cause deviation and LDrasion of belt conveyor, thus LD to serious consequences. Therefore, the life LDan of idler and belt conveyor can be prolonged if swept throughly.
1. head sweeper, consisting of single scraper blade or multi-scraper blade, makes the scraper blade operates on the worldsurface of belt conveyor by make use of the force of a hammer or a LDring in order to get rid of the stickum on the conveyor. Materials of scraper blade include rubber, polyurethane, alloy and so on.
2. Head Hairbrush Sweeper: it sweeps away the stickum with the aid of rotary hard brush (or nylon brush).
